Chris Torgesen has been an educator for 36 years; teaching math and science to 6-8 graders and serving as an Elementary Principal in several 3-5 grade elementary schools. In 2019 Chris opened the J.R. Simplot Elementary School in American Falls, Idaho. After catching the STEAM bug a couple of years earlier he and a team of like minded teachers were able to successfully navigate the process for STEM certification and provide their students with a rich STEAM based education.
