Screencasting best practices and benefits in the classroom.

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

A major benefit of screencasting is that the student and parent can watch the screencast at a time when it’s best for them because learning doesn’t always take place in an academic setting.

Additionally, the students can absorb the information at their own pace by pausing and rewatching portions. Screencasts add a personal touch in ways that other methods simply cannot.

Examples of common screencast are: Tutorials, Video Lessons, Recorded
Presentations and much more.

Screencasting not only saves you time answering the same questions over and over, but it has been proven that 80% of viewers can recall a video they have seen in the past 30 days.

We will be using Screencast-o-matic. Please download the free application before the session.
Please bring content for creating a screencast.

For more information check out the document ScreencastingBestPractices in the session.
