Understanding how the brain works and how learning occurs is likely something we didn’t learn in school or at least it's not something we can easily recall from our college days.  Keeping ourselves up to date on learner characteristics and brain based best teaching practices can help teachers customize their classroom experience to better meet the needs of the diverse learners they serve. This hands-on session will expand participants' knowledge related to learning sciences and provide actionable strategies to shape the learning experiences they design.
