Are you struggling to engage learners with a fun and immersive computer science curriculum? Do you want to validate your learners’ skills in coding?
Join us for a hands-on session led by educators who have discovered how easy it is to teach coding with Coding in Minecraft—an innovative and easy way for teachers from with limited coding experience to teach coding like a seasoned pro and prove your students coding skills. You’ll learn how educators teaching 6th grade on up can leverage Coding in Minecraft’s standards-aligned credential and curriculum program and the familiar world of Minecraft: Education Edition to help their students progress from the basics of using MakeCode to advanced coding with JavaScript. You’ll also learn how Coding in Minecraft’s capstone credential can help you demonstrate your students’ progress to district and state-level administrators. Coding in Minecraft is a great way to put your students on the path to earning professional-grade coding certifications from Microsoft, Apple, or Unity.
Please bring your fully-charged Windows 10 (preferred) or MacOS laptop and mouse with the latest version of Minecraft: Education Edition installed from here: http://aka.ms/download
