What are the most important things IT leaders can do and advocate for to improve the cybersecurity risk posture of their school districts? This presentation will offer a detailed look
at some of the most significant cybersecurity incidents that schools have faced in recent years and the baseline cybersecurity controls (including school policies, cybersecurity tools, and
user training and awareness-building) that might have prevented them. We'll also explore ways that school IT staff can garner support for better school cybersecurity practices from
administrators and other members of the school community.
