Growth Mindset and Exploration! The students and I learn from not only the from one another! In our after school program and our classrooms we are all the leaders in our learning. We focus on collaboration and creation through exploration! At our high poverty and Title 1 school, supplies are limited if not obsolete. Our science program came without books, it came without supplies, but yet we scrape up what we can and design, build, and experiment away! Our mathematics program manipulatives are made from paper, lamination, and more paper, but we add the creativity to our computations through creativity! The students and the teachers are a community of learners who love learning and love STEM! We are all the teachers, we are all students, and last but most importantly, we are all amazing partners to each and everyone in our class!
