I have been at Boise High since 1997 and have taught Chemistry and Modified Biology. I am currently teaching Biology and AP Biology. I have also coached baseball in various capacities since 1998 with a break from 2012-2016. My appreciation and interest in biology started in Micronesia where I lived till I was ten. During those years I helped my dad weigh chicken eggs to determine the optimum type and amount of feed to give the hens. I also measured nutmeg production of several trees on the property and helped visiting Japanese scientist capture and dissect rats. Going snorkeling and fishing every weekend also served to further my interest in biology and natural history. I am a third generation Vandal and have degrees in both Biology and Secondary Education from the University of Idaho. My formal education continued at Boise State where I earned a Masters in Educational Technology. I look forward to sharing ideas with you.
